It can be tough knowing how to start cleaning or even where to begin tackling your hoard. Or maybe you’re struggling with how to get started clearing out some clutter that’s been bothering you. I vividly recall standing in the doorway of my parents’ home and being completely bewildered about how I would ever clean up the mess.

Any cleanup requires good tools. I posted a list of the cleaning products that I bought and that were invaluable to me, not only for the hoarding cleanup but for ongoing cleaning and maintenance in my own house.
